DeepSeek Harness is a local-first, extensible Coding Agent and agent development/runtime environment. Once the product is installed and running, it processes and stores the following data locally on the user's device by default, and does not upload them to the server without the user's consent. Such data includes:
- User inputs, model outputs, and other session context content
- Agent tool call records, attachments, file paths, execution results, and runtime logs
- Model service addresses, API keys, and any personally identifiable information configured by the user
To troubleshoot issues and improve the product, we may report anonymized configuration information and project lists, and users can choose to disable reporting or modify the reporting address.
Please note that when users actively configure and invoke other external models, web tools, MCP services, plugins, or other services/tools through DeepSeek Harness, these services or tools may upload user data. Such data is processed entirely by the invoked service providers.
